Michelle Van Hook

I am the receptionist for Sandals Church. I love being a part of a dynamic group of Christians who seek to do the will of the Lord by being real with themselves, others, and God.

I came to Sandals Church during a time in my life when I was broken and hurting. The first sermon I heard related directly to the hardship I was experiencing. God spoke to me through that sermon and I made the decision to make Him the center of my life. God continues to heal me by speaking through Sandals members who love me, challenge me, and help me grow spiritually.

At the moment my hobbies are videos games, movies, scrapbooking, hiking, and rock climbing. I enjoy listening to audio books while traveling, and feel most connected with God when I am outdoors. 

One of my favorite bible verses is Galatians 6:2,  “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
