When I decided to finally yield control of my life over to God three years ago, I didn't actually think He'd take it.

Growing up in church produced an abundant amount of bible study and learning the way of the church. Unfortunately, in my 10 years of being a "Christian" I didn't look a thing like Christ. It wasn't until I had driven my life into the ground that I looked up at God and whimpered." help?". God came to my rescue. And provided a chance for me to come and work at Sandals Church. The intense chipping and remolding of my heart and character have been tremendous and I praise God for the work He has done....but He ain't finished yet.

As the Family Ministries Worship Director I have the awesome opportunity to communicate and relate to kids and youth from 1st to 12th grade. In Pipeline (our service designed  just for kids!) we use upbeat, fun songs with a simple message to engage kids and layer a foundation of connecting to God through motions and songs. Our kids get to see a real Jesus in a way they can grasp and enjoy. In Frontside, (our service for Jr. High and High School students) we provide an edgy, relevant atmosphere for our students to understand God and dive deeper into relationship with Him. We know that in a world of multimedia domination we need to strive and be entertaining and engaging as well as spiritually connected and focused on God. We desire to empty ourselves and allow God to use us every week. It's all about Him and His glory.

A few snippets about me: I am half Korean and will take pride in that whenever I can. I am to be married to my beautiful Cheryl on January 19th, 2008. I like outdoorsy stuff, I have bad balance, I like strawberry chapstick, chic-fil-a openings, mini fridges, and Justin Kowalski.
